General Residential Operations (GRO)
A General Residential Group Home(GRO) a licensed care facility that provides 24-hour supervision, structured support, and a safe, stable living environment for children who are unable to remain in their own homes due to abuse, neglect, abandonment, or other family challenges.
The Lighthouse of Harmony will serve children of various ages and backgrounds, offering:
Safe Housing: Comfortable, family-style living arrangements where children feel secure.
Basic Needs: Nutritious meals, clothing, medical care, and educational support.
Emotional & Behavioral Support: Access to counseling, mentoring, and positive role models.
Life Skills Development: Teaching responsibility, self-care, social skills, and preparation for independent living.
Recreational & Community Activities: Opportunities for children to engage in healthy activities, sports, hobbies, and community service.
The primary goal of a general residential group home is to provide stability, healing, and growth in a supportive environment while working toward family reunification, adoption, or long-term care solutions that allow each child to thrive.
